At the Financial Oversight and Management Board, we know about difficulties in starting and running a business in Puerto Rico. However, we would like to learn more about your particular concerns and needs.

That is why we would like to hear from you, the leaders in Puerto Rico's main trade associations. We urge you to inform all your organization's members about the Ease of Doing Business survey that the Oversight Board recently launched, available here. You have until November 12 to complete it. The survey is confidential, takes no more than 15 minutes to complete, and can be completed in English or Spanish. The results will be aggregated and made public.

It is crucial for us to receive feedback from all economic sectors and businesses of all sizes. The information gathered through this survey is an invaluable resource that will help improve the local business environment for everyone.

If you already completed the survey: thank you! If you have not yet completed it or have not sent it to your organization's members: time is running out for you to contribute to the successful transformation of Puerto Rico's business sector. We know we can count on you.

Guajataca Tunnel revitalization and its impact
on the northwest region

Primero, solicite beneficios adicionales. Luego fírmelo y devuélvalo a FEMA.

FEMA's mission is to help people before, during and after disasters.
Follow FEMA online, on Twitter @FEMA or @FEMAEspanol, on FEMA's Facebook page  or Espanol page and at FEMA's YouTube account. Also, follow Administrator Pete Gaynor's activities @FEMA_Pete.

Election Analysis: Why Voters Split the Difference
on Income Tax Measures

Illinois voters rejected a high graduated rate income tax while Arizonans embraced a large income tax rate increase for high earners, among the many attention-grabbing results from Tuesday's elections-most of which, admittedly, weren't about taxes. Coloradans, meanwhile, ratified an income tax cut in a year that many expected voters to instead be weighing in on a substantial income tax increase-and that was before the pandemic.
