Birds are feathered, winged, two-legged, warm blooded, egg-laying vertebrates. There are 9,026 identified species of birds in the world, of which 1,232 are found in India. The "Patchi" app is designed to showcase the real photos from the field along with identification keys, voice, size, and habitats of the birds. The app contains information about terrestrial birds as well as wetland birds in Puducherry.
