Daily holy week services underway

From the Cleburne Times-Review, by Lisa Magers.

The 45th observance of community worship in conjunction with Holy Week, sponsored annually by the Cleburne Christian Business Club, kicked off Monday in the Jeff D. Cody Arena at Cleburne High School.

Weekday services begin at 7 a.m. each morning and run through Good Friday, featuring special music and a guest lay speaker, as believers from all faiths come together for an hour of morning worship.

“This year’s Holy Week observance is especially meaningful, as for the first time in decades of services, the 2020 observance was canceled due to COVID,” Holy Week Committee Co-Chairman Vance Castles said. “We are so grateful to be able to be back together, one year later, for communal worship on these meaningful days leading up to the celebration of Easter.”
