National Small Business Week to Kick-off September 22-24
September 3, 2020, WASHINGTON - Today, Jovita Carranza, Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration, announced the kick-off for National Small Business Week. The virtual event, rescheduled from May due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be held September 22-24. National Small Business Week honors the nation's small businesses, many of which are veteran, women and minority-owned, for their achievements and dedication to their communities. This year's National Small Business Week activities will include numerous educational panels providing retooling and innovative practices for entrepreneurs as our nation's small businesses look to pivot and recover toward a stronger economy. The event will recognize the national award winners, including the naming of this year's National Small Business Person of the Year.

2 de septiembre de 2020, ATLANTA - La Administración de Pequeños Negocios de los Estados Unidos (SBA por sus siglas en Ingles) anunció hoy que los Préstamos para Daños Económicos por Desastre están disponibles para las pequeñas empresas, las pequeñas cooperativas agrícolas, las pequeñas empresas dedicadas a la acuicultura y las organizaciones privadas sin fines de lucro ubicadas en Puerto Rico como resultado de la sequía que comenzó el 9 de junio de 2020.
Los préstamos están disponibles en Ponce y en los municipios contiguos de Adjuntas, Jayuya, Juana Díaz, Peñuelas y Utuado en Puerto Rico.

El doctor Víctor Ramos, presidente del Colegio, informó que esta gestión se realiza en alianza con la Asociación de IPA's, la Cámara de Comercio de Puerto Rico, el Colegio de Enfermería Práctica y organizaciones aliadas a la salud.
