Description

2 Day Classroom-Based Live Instruction:

NOW AVAILABLE! Two-Day Enhanced CPI Training for Full Certification. Both days are classroom-based live instruction. Day 1 will be held on December 12, 2019 and Day 2 will be held on December 13, 2019. Participants must attend both Day 1 and Day 2 in their entirety to receive the CPI full certification blue card.

The Crisis Prevention Institute’s (CPI) Enhanced Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge required to respond early and effectively, allowing the staff member to prevent or defuse a behavioral escalation. As a last resort, participants will also learn and practice the essential skills needed to safely manage dangerous behavior within the school setting. It is recommended that schools have a small team (3-5 staff members) trained per site. NOTE: Participants must be able to physically perform the CPI Personal Safety Techniques and attend the entire training to be properly certified. Proper attire and closed toed non-slip shoes (i.e. tennis shoes) should be worn to ensure the safety of self and others.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering for someone else, please be sure to enter their information in the ticket section for notifications regarding this training.
