Description

Grade level, standards-aligned academic IEP goals based on the California Content Standards for all students are critical to ensuring students with disabilities have access to high quality curriculum and instruction based on both grade level expectations and individualized needs. Additionally, composing non-academic goals can pose a challenge for teachers and IEP teams. This training will provide educators with information focused on the requisite skills to develop goals designed to support progress toward mastering grade-level content standards, as well as determining the students’ levels of performance and steps for writing meaningful and measurable non-academic goals. Presenters will lead participants through the goal development process and provide practical tools to aid them in future practice.
