(San Juan, PR - September 30, 2020) - The Financial Oversight and Management Board for Puerto Rico and principal creditor parties to the Plan Support Agreement, dated as of February 9, 2020, agreed to the release today documents related to the ongoing negotiations to restructure the Commonwealth's debt under Title III of PROMESA.

El Departamento de la Vivienda de Puerto Rico, como agencia designada para administrar fondos CDBG-DR, informa a todos los ciudadanos que el período de comentarios públicos de 30 días para la Enmienda Sustancial 5 del Plan de Acción ha comenzado (disponible para comentarios públicos desde el 10 de septiembre hasta el 10 de octubre de 2020). El Plan de Acción inicial fue aprobado por el Departamento de Vivienda y Desarrollo Urbano de los Estados Unidos (HUD por sus siglas en inglés) el 29 de julio de 2018. Sin embargo, Vivienda continúa haciendo modificaciones para hacer cumplir las regulaciones emitidas por HUD y para actualizar la cartera de programas con el fin de servir mejor a los ciudadanos de Puerto Rico.

They're trying to trick you into turning over personal information, like your birth date and home address, which could help them scam you. So: if you get an email from the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission about getting money because of an inheritance or relief funds related to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic - or anything else - do not respond. Do not give out your personal information. But do hit "delete."

October 5, 2020, PUERTO RICO - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized a cleanup plan to address contaminated soil at the Pesticide Warehouse I Superfund Site in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. The final plan, in the form of a document called a Record of Decision, details cleanup work that includes removing and disposing of contaminated soil from the site to protect people's health.

2 de octubre de 2020, GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico - El Centro de Análisis Operativo de Seguridad Nacional (HSOAC, por sus siglas en inglés) publicó más de 20 informes sobre temas de recuperación relacionados con el huracán María. Este análisis fue coordinado con la Agencia Federal para el Manejo de Emergencias (FEMA, por sus siglas en inglés) y contiene una evaluación de todos los sectores de Puerto Rico, incluyendo la manera en que la infraestructura física, la infraestructura natural y los sistemas humanos fueron afectados por la tormenta.
