El secretario del Departamento de Hacienda (DH), Francisco Parés Alicea, anunció hoy el desembolso de pagos de Premium Pay a más de 1,000 empleados de la dependencia, que se mantuvieron trabajando durante la emergencia del COVID-19.

“Estamos reconociendo la labor de 1,180 empleados que formaron parte del ejército que nos acompañó durante más de un año, cuando nos impactó la pandemia del COVID-19. Estos empleados, de básicamente todas las áreas del Departamento, están recibiendo una remuneración adicional de $2,000, para un impacto total de $2,360,000”, dijo Parés Alicea.

As part of our ongoing commitment to assure patients receive the right information at the right time to inform their decisions about medical device safety, the FDA is hosting a Patient Engagement Advisory Committee (PEAC) meeting on October 6, 2021. As policymakers weigh whether to lift or repeal the $10,000 cap on state and local tax (SALT) deductions enacted by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA), they have to wrestle with how that change would primarily benefit high-earning taxpayers. As some have pointed out, other TCJA changes may further increase the benefits of an uncapped SALT deduction for the top five percent of filers. Our analysis illustrates how restoring the SALT deduction now would be more regressive than under prior law, strengthening the case for keeping the cap in place.

Yo me imagino que no debo ser el único que cuando llega el fin de semana prendo los aires acondicionados de casa en lo mas frio todo el día.
