Master of Social Sciences in Corporate Environmental Governance
2021-2022 Admission Briefing (Session 2)

This programme offers students the knowledge and skills to tackle sustainability challenges from the perspective of corporates operating in a context continuously molded by public policy, globalization and rapid social-economic changes. Students enrolled in the programme will learn not only managerial theories and operational techniques, such as business sustainability strategies, green finance and corporate social responsibility , but also factors shaping the macro context such as the political economy of policymaking, globalization, and cross-sectoral collaboration. By integrating academic and practical knowledge, the curriculum is designed to prepare executives in different sectors to take up inclusive, ethical and civic-minded leadership for sustainable development; candidates who aspire to develop a career, or to further enhance their expertise, in the fields of corporate social responsibility, sustainability strategy and reporting, impact investing, and environmental policy will find the programme particularly attractive.

In the Admission Briefing, the Programme Director and key instructors will introduce the curriculum design and contents, course assessment, admission eligibility, career prospect and address any questions prospective students may have.
